Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to FN. PHANTOM II SYNCHRO MESH BOX. This box has been running on the test rig and we hope to have it on the road by Friday. As 17-EX. is not completed, we are fitting it to another car, 22-EX. We understand it is intended to get this gearbox on to production as soon as possible. We consider the testing of this gearbox is essentially a test which could be carried out without going to France. On the tests in France the gearbox is comparatively little used. We should like your agreement that the Standardisation of this box can be put through without going to France., after satisfactory tests have been made here. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
