1036 1086 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB.5/ET.7.8.40 CARBURETTER & FUEL PUMP TEST RIGS Owing to fire risks a separate building is required for these rigs. The floor space should be 11' x 16'. For the carburetter tests a tank is required about 18' above the floor level. For the fuel pump test a tank is required 9' below the floor level. It is suggested safety would be increased if this tank were put on the embankment (and the building near it-. The alternative to this is a pit in the shop floor with adequate ventilation. Some means of forced ventilation would be necessary to remove fuel fumes from the building. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Bastow | ||
