We are in agreement with your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wstl/KT.25.1.33 wherein modifications are proposed to increase the rigidity of the field and lessen armature reaction effects, to reduce sparking under the more varied conditions which we shall experience as regards load and speed with vibrator control. In fixing the maximum output of the dynamo we must aim at balancing the full load to be expected under night driving conditions with a sufficient margin to ensure continuous operation.
