Father likes it. Regarding water temperature, on our run from Paris to Chateauroux, with radiator shutters fully open, and bonnet shutters closed, the highest temperature attained was 84°C. The bonnet shutters were then opened, and our highest temperature was 82°C. On our run from Bourges to Lyon, and then to Grenoble the water temperature averaged between 80°C & 84°C, with both bonnet and radiator shutters fully open. PN{Mr Northey} complained of the brakes not being 100%, and on examination I was able to adjust the rear footbrake shoes 1 notch on the chauffeurs adjustment. I also oiled the car all round on our arrival at Grenoble and made tyre pressures O.K. Herewith data re mileage and petrol. Boulogne to Grenoble. 587 mls. (per Speedometer) Petrol used. 240 Litres Consumption 2.446 mls per litre. I am also keeping a check on oil consumption. Gord Lyman 24-6-29. | ||
