To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from EFC. EFC9/T1.9.19. X.3362 - LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. X1114 In answer to your note R2/G22.8.19, we are asking the C.O. to find out definitely if 12 volt 12 watt half watt type lamps are obtainable. I have in my possession some 6 volt 12 watt half watt type lamps, and I rather think this is the lowest weight of filament that can be made up in these lamps. We are at present awaiting 12 volt 16 c.p. Ediswan lamps, as the first lot that came in had to go back on account of the pins and the cap being too short. The lamps already supplied are 12 volt 12 c.p. ordinary metallic filament lamps. EFC. 2nd.Sept. 1919. Half a dozen 12 volt 16 c.p. lamps now received. We are sending two of these down to you by Messrs. Hives and Barrington and shall be glad to know if they are suitable. Meanwhile we are trying to obtain half watt type lamps. EFC. | ||
