Throttle control schemes ECD.325.
---------------------------------

We have investigated the cost of schemes on Drg.ECD.325, which shows the alternative methods of operating the throttle on the two carburetters of the Bentley III Engine.

Scheme 1 which shows the direct coupling of the throttle spindles is the cheaper and on comparison with Scheme 3 (countershaft type) shows a saving in factory cost of 2/5d.

With reference to the alternative designs of adjustable couplings i.e., the solid coupling compared with the composite coupling with rivetted tabs, the cost difference between these is negligible.

Print ECD.325 returned herewith.
