S.S. CENTRAL LUBRICATION.
--------------------

We note that on production chassis the small pipe feeding the front spring rear anchorage is looped in such a manner that it projects some distance from the frame. We have examined Experimental chassis and find that on our cars this is not the case and that it makes a neat job which will not be liable to be struck by stones. The coppersmith bends and cuts slightly this pipe to suit individual cases and it is doubtful whether any other instructions to Works is necessary other than pointing out the desirability of keeping the pipe as close to the frame as possible - otherwise stones will hit it. i.e. the modification is within the province of the coppersmith himself without alteration of the pipe dimensions.
