COPY. COPY. To Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} for Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 15/12/13 Copy to J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Copy to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} R9/P 11.12.13. Steering Pivots. X.168. With reference to steering pivot test, pivots Nos.P.3697/8 and 3672/3, I have instructed that the lightening holes should be bored rather smaller. Secondly that the radius at the corner should be made larger. I have marked the drawing recently returned to Mr Day with these instructions on it. I have also suggested that the heat treatment be examined as I fear the second heat is sufficiently high. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Bigger radius most important. F.H.R. | ||
