Steering Pivots. X.168.
With reference to steering pivot test, pivots Nos.P.3697/8 and 3672/3, I have instructed that the lightening holes should be bored rather smaller.
Secondly that the radius at the corner should be made larger.
I have marked the drawing recently returned to Mr Day with these instructions on it.
I have also suggested that the heat treatment be examined as I fear the second heat is sufficiently high.
