To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to WoR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 84484 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MA.14.12.31. BURNEY CAR. Sir Denistoune-Burney has sent me a copy of a paper he has to read before the American Automobile Engineers on the advantages of the Burney car. It is a very complete analysis of this type of car. You will realise from the meeting at Conduit Street, that R.{Sir Henry Royce} accepted the fundimental advantages of the Burney car, and although it is rightly decided that we should take no official interest in it, we would like to take a friendly interest in this car, and have asked Sir Denistoune-Burney to call at Derby any time he is this way.
