For the attention of Mr. Fellowes (Product Design Division.)

Dear Sir,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 8th inst. In reply we find that there will be no objection to a representative from your French factory contacting with our tests car in France at a time and place convenient to us. Since your visit to us however, our plans have changed somewhat and at the moment it is uncertain whether the car in question will be sent abroad. It is at present in service here, fitted with the new pattern tread tyres, and if it would be of assistance to you to send someone along to examine the tyres at intervals of say 2,000 miles, we shall be pleased to arrange this. In the event of the car going abroad we shall of course inform you so that you can arrange for your French inspector to get into touch with our people in France.

With regard to the 7.00 x 21" tyre which you left with us, as we have no further use for this we are arranging for it to be returned to you via; your next lorry.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
