BENTLEY INSTRUCTION BOOK..OIL.

With reference to Depot Sheet Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}268, and BY/NW{N. Walker - Patents}2/VL{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}20.12.34, BY/NW{N. Walker - Patents}3/VL{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}20.12.34 and BY/NW{N. Walker - Patents}4/VL{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}20.12.34 wherein you give instructions for thin oil to be used during the Winter, we presume you are quite satisfied that this thin oil is necessary and is not likely to cause any trouble. No doubt it has been properly tried out.

We feel rather nervous about it in London, and we should have thought that it would only have been recommended in rather extreme cases where, for instance, a car is kept in an unheated garage.

We would therefore like your assurance that you are quite happy about recommending it.
