CHASSIS-9 PK.

ENGINE.

Crankcase & Bearings.

Main bearings taken up, No 2 and 5 replaced (New bearings)
cranksahft re-bedded.
Oil Level Indicator to LeC.1762 fitted.

Crankshaft.

end
Connecting Rods taken up and re-bedded, scored on Spring
. Drive/made O.K.

Camshaft.

New front bearing fitted, other bearings O.K.

Spring Drive.

This has been examined and re-assembled.

Tappets.

Adjusting screws re-faced, faces on tappet levers trued
up.

Oil Pump.

Gears quietened.

Water Pump.

New rotor fitted with spindle in Stainless steel to
drawings E.23633/4.

Governor.

Thrust bearing removed, and replaced by ball bearing
to conform with American practice, to drawing E.23919.

Carburetter.

New float needle, seating etc, fitted to drawings
E.23341/2/3/4. to conform with American practice.

Cylinders.

Phosphor Bronze guides fitted and broached.
Firths Silcrome valves with 45° seating fitted, to
drawing E.24285.

Pistons.

Top scraper ring replaced on each Piston.
