'titter' issue with a Bentley exhaust manifold and proposing a new design with an internal baffle.

To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x223 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ym.14/JH.22.6.36. Bentley Exhaust System. We have tested the large cast manifold EX.22094 for the above system and we are troubled with "TITTER" due to the exhaust gases driving straight on to the manifold instead of being led as in the Prince of Wales feather manifold. We would like to try a baffle liberally perforated inside the manifold to overcome this. Will you therefore please instruct for 2 further manifolds incorporating this baffle one to remain the same dimensions as EX.22094 i.e. 4.750" outside dia. and the second one to be 4.000" outside dia.
