RE. 'V' SERIES STEERING. X. 8430

This is to confirm that you will arrange an experimental set, bringing in the case of the 'B' steering the lower edge of the steering wheel within 9" of the compressed cushion, maintaining the distance from the dashboard the same as now. You will also use a wheel of the old 40/50 dia., in place of the present 18" wheel. In the case of 'D' you will arrange a similar set with a small wheel with its edge in the present 'D' position both as regards the compressed cushion and the back of the dashboard.

These experimental pieces are intended for use if the question of the position of the steering wheel on 'V' series is agreed by the Sales representatives to be objectionable as now fixed.

With reference to the position of the spherical universal joint we should like to fix this up, but we have not at present received the prints of the tubes which you promised us, and which we understand were despatched to us; We have not been able to find them by a search, and we presume they have gone astray.
