Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
LONDON, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Russell.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 24th inst. concerning the petrol gauge for Mr. E.R. Hall's Bentley.

The length of the cable will be approximately 18 ft., but we presume that we shall supply the cable as now done with our production gauges.

The finish of the dial being semi matt black with white figures will be satisfactory.

We hope you are arranging for this instrument to have a warning light as suggested by Mr. Nichols.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
