RE CAR FOR MR. DUGDALE.
In reply to your Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 6/LG18.7.21., before any special demonstration is arranged for Mr. Dugdale's edification, I am waiting to hear what his impression is after we has had an opportunity of appreciating his new Car, when I will immediately communicate with you.
Meanwhile, I am in doubt as to what you intended, to convey in the last paragraph of your memo, beginning at the seventh line from the end. Do mean what you actually wrote, that you did not think the Rolls-Royce with a fourteen-tooth axle could put up as good a maximum speed as the Cadillac?
