For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

1st. March 1929.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of yours
of the 28th inst., regarding the modified filter elements
we are making up for you.

We have been working absolutely continuously
on this particular job and are just on the verge of producing
a really satisfactory article, but we have made no less than
four sets of tools and have been confronted with a whole series
of peculiar troubles, but we honestly believe now that these
are overcome.

We will do our very utmost to despatch 3 complete
filters with the new elements during next week.

Yours faithfully,

BENTON & STONE LTD.,

Director.
