Y3117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/KT. February 17th 1933. Donald Sessions & Co, Ltd, 906 Harrow Rd, Willesden, London, N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Donald Sessions. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 16th inst., the contents of which we have noted. Reverting to remarks which have passed between us at various times with regard to D.W.S. Jacks for smaller cars, we should be glad if you would let us have a set of Jacks suitable for a car, the complete weight of which (without passengers) is 32 cwt., in addition we require jacks for a car whose complete weight is 28 cwt. The tyre size in each case is 5.50"x 18". Presumably one size of jack would be suitable for both cars. If this is correct we shall require the one set only. We do not require you to supply any fixing brackets, we expect to design suitable fixings, possibly incorporated in the axle design to carry the jacks. If we hear from you that you have a suitable jack in your present production range, we will send along our official order. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
