'SS{S. Smith}' CHASSIS.

Some time ago it was agreed, as regards the 'SS{S. Smith}' chassis, the Expl: Dept: should provide the Works with models of a number of parts. We consider that the models might be cut down to the parts which it has been proved by experience in producing the SS.{S. Smith} chassis are more or less difficult or novel. These, we suggest, are as follows :-

1. Front shock absorber complete.
2. Rear shock absorber complete.
3. Propeller shaft universal joint.
4. Bijur oil pump.
5. Vacuum pump.
6. Starter motor.
7. Main switch and push button switch.
8. A set of Bijur pipes.

We strongly recommend that the Works insist on having these models before they fit up any of these parts, and will BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please instruct RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} to supply these parts to the Works.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
