Dear Sirs, For the attention of Dr. F.W. Smith. We have forwarded to you to-day the Clutch Plate having approximately .080" gap, to your Order No. 37462. We shall be most interested to hear from you as to how this plate progresses when you have had an opportunity of forming an opinion. We would point out that on one of the faces of the Ferodo you will notice a small piece of wood embedded which we have left in. This no doubt has happened during the manufacture of the lining and we would suggest that you remove same as no doubt it will have a detrimental effect upon the sweet action of the lining. Yours faithfully, P.P. NEWTON & BENNETT, LTD. Noll B. Newton Managing Director. HEAD OFFICE: KING STREET WEST, MANCHESTER, 3 | ||
