Z 547 Re location of ball bearings in gear box, Mr Bailey 19-9-12 TBB6/H19912. Gear Box Dept. With reference to the endways clearance of those ball bearings in the gear box which locate the position of shafts &c, Mr Royce is of the opinion that .005" is ample. He understands from Mr Platford that the present clearance is more than this. Will you kindly see that our standard drawings are correct- ed{J. L. Edwards} to agree with this recommendation. | ||
