The B. & L. ELECTRIC GAS PRIMER
QUICK WINTER STARTING—BATTERY SAVING ASSURED BY TWO SIMPLE DASHBOARD OPERATIONS

The B. & L. Electric Gas Primer has made every other starting aid device obsolete, insofar as year in, year out efficiency goes. It is a revelation of scientific development and a positive and enduring aid to engines where efficiency is concerned.

With two simple dashboard switch and plunger movements, a full charge of hot vaporized gasoline is thrown into the intake manifold, galvanizing the engine into instant activity through the momentary use of the starter, or two or three turns of the crank.

SAFE—Gasoline is not exposed to the atmosphere. No open contact at heating unit.

This primer is not an experiment, not an uncertainty, but a three-year-old success growing in country-wide popularity. The principle is correct—the application unfailing.

EASILY ATTACHED—All necessary fittings and tubing furnished, no extra parts required.

All you have to do is simply to heat a resistance coil with a 15 or 30 second application of the battery current (18 amperes used for a few seconds, and then a drop back to 7 amperes.) The fuel drawn direct from the lead turns to hot vapor giving you quick, easy starting even in the coldest weather, doubles battery life, prevents carburetor flooding and saves starter wear and tear.
