Schedule requirements on the following parts are now such that it is uneconomical to continue working off our existing pattern eqipment in its present condition:- ✓ EW.1580 Cylinder Block. ✓ EW.1296 Cylinder Head. ✓ EW.1026 Exhaust Manifold. Before we request Mr. Walker to lay out these parts for production, we would be glad to know whether there is any likelihood of further design alterations to these parts, since once the metal production pattern equipment is produced it is a much more costly procedure altering the design of a part.
