MINUTES OF CONFERENCE AT DERBY SEPT. 1932.

Replying to Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}3/GR.{George Ratcliffe}30.9.32.

Page 1. Bonnet Fasteners.

The reason a standardisation sheet has not been issued is that the comparison of prices between R.R. and bought out fasteners were not fair. There can be a considerable saving in the R.R. fasteners if we are prepared to accept the same material as in the bought out fasteners. We are issuing a report on this.

Page 3. Item 7.

A standardisation sheet has been issued and has been signed by everyone except Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

Page 6. Item 5 on last Agenda - Dynamos.

We have not done sufficient tests yet to issue a standardisation sheet. One dynamo has run 2,000 miles.

Page 7. Braking.

We have just issued a standardisation sheet covering this point.
