PHANTOM III.
Lighter Springs for Clutch.

With reference to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.1.4.38. dealing with fitting lighter clutch springs to trials cars, we are today despatching to N. a supply of modified springs.

We would be glad if you would please have these fitted to trials cars as soon as convenient.

Will N. please note the springs we are sending are for use as follows -

36 springs G.85733 (3 sets) marked with red paint for use in cars without .070 packing ring between the flywheel and the clutch cover.

72 springs G.85734 (6 sets) marked with yellow paint for use in cars with .070 packing ring.
