-3- Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/AP.16.2.37. with a short engine and simple foundry practice. The O.H.V. unit has already indicated that, with the valving obtained, it is going to be exceedingly difficult to obtain a water-tight cylinder head joint quite apart from the problem of the camshaft drive. We do not anticipate any difficulty with either the gasket or the camshaft drive on the high power unit. We feel that ultimately we shall have to go to 12 cyl. units for all models to attract customers at the price we ask, and that therefore any six cylinder construction we now consider should also be reviewed in the light of its application to a Vee unit.
