Copy to - WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BONNET - SECOND HALF OF 'T' SERIES. So far the only change proposed for the bonnet of this series of 20/25, is the lengthening due to the radiator moving forward, and the passing of the bonnet slightly over the dashboard (.2".) We have for some while had a means whereby the bonnet sides can be carried right down on P. 2. We have been unable to do this on the 20/25, on account of the bonnet clip. If on this series it is desired that the bonnet should be carried down below the top of the frame it will be necessary for us to use the P.2. bonnet clip, which, although it is more elegant in appearance, we believe is more costly. We would be glad of a ruling on this point. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
