GOSHAWK II. RIGHT HAND LEVERS. X.3528
X.4253.

We send herewith N.sch.1430. shewing the
arrangement of side levers for use with a revised gearbox
which will shortly be sent you from "ElmsteadHenry Royce's home in West Wittering".

We have altered the setting of the cross member
slightly, and the hand brake differential shaft is modified and
made now the same as the footbrake differential shaft except
for the L.H. shaft which is shorter.

The handle of the hand brake lever is to be like
E.A.C.

It will be noticed that the frame side member has
been altered, the slope starting earlier than before. The
brackets carrying the differential shafts are the same as now
used except that a cap is used instead of the double bracket,
and in accordance with Mr. Royce's wishes we have modified the
taper pinning. Mr. Royce wishes the system of fitting a
taper pin on a slight angle which we shew here to be adopted
as standard in similar cases.

The angular setting and lengths of the levers will
be found on N.sch.1429 which you already have. The distance
from the centre of the car is shewn on this drawing.
