A discussion was held on Wednesday, September 4th, on the Myth Monocoque. It was decided that in view of that fact that it would be impossible to get a prototype Myth made during hostilities, the previous project of monocoque construction would have to be modified. A frame, therefore, will be provided, so that the body can be rubber mounted. At the same time, consideration will be given to the design of the body, to provide for a change to monocoque construction, if and when we have proved that the car can be made to attain a satisfactory degree of silence without insulation between the frame and the body. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. will liaise between Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. until a frame drawing, agreeable to both sections has been produced. A meeting will be held in a fortnight's time to discuss the progress made. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
