Bentley Rear Axle.

Since the advent of the large bore engine, considerable wear takes place on the rear axle bevel pinion bearing.

We have approached the manufacturers for an increased capacity bearing to go into the existing space. We send you herewith their drawing S.5595, the bearing they suggest, which necessitates only very slight modification to the present assembly.

Will you please obtain three of these bearings and fit them to any of our chassis other than B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} or 6-B-IV.

The drawing we send you is the only copy we have.
