Dear Mr.Robotham,
Many thanks for your letter of the 21st instant, I will carry out the tests on the dynamo and see whether it is possible to make any suggestions for improvement.
I have received a letter from Mr.Hopkins from America, requesting me to get some 'Halls' metal for testing. Half a dozen of those castings, as promised by you when I was in Derby last, I think will be sufficient for the purpose, although when Mr.Hopkins was here, he indicated that he would like half a hundredweight.
