With reference to our telephone conversation of this afternoon, I communicated with Hoopers who tell me that, having noticed the defect in the glass of the screen before the car left them on Friday, they have already ordered a new glass from the Triplex Co. and have secured a promise of delivery on Thursday next which is, of course, unusually good for the Triplex Co. I have asked Hoopers to have the new glass despatched direct to you, yourself, by the Triplex Co and per passenger train. Hoopers will, of course bear the expense of supplying the new glass.
