I am sorry the 3.62" rims for the 17" rims have gone so far so quickly, but I think it is well worth having some wider rims to compare with them should you think that the tyres can be fitted to these without trouble. The question is, whether to have another set of wheels with 4" width of rim or 4½" between the flanges. At the moment we think that the wider the rim, within the limits of the tyre requirements, the better. We should like you to do some experiments with the 4½" rim between the flanges, and tell us as soon as you can whether it is a practical possibility or not with the existing tyres. As soon as we have decided whether or not the 4½" rim is a practical proposition, we will order another set of 5 wheels to compare with the 3.62" rim.
