Dear Taub,

Thank you for your letter of 28th October giving the information regarding the amount of Sodium in the exhaust valves.

We have been making enquiries regarding our capacity for making lead bronze bearings for your engines and I am afraid that it would not be possible for us to cope with the quantities you will require. As a matter of fact, we are having difficulty in coping with our own expansion at the present moment.

You will be interested to hear that I have apparently got an official ticket to observe tanks in general, as and when I want to.

I wish you the best of luck on your trip to the States and hope you will be able to impress them with the necessity for putting all the capacity they have into armaments.

Yours sincerely,
