RE 40/50 CHASSIS
WIRING TUBE FOR BATTERY HIGH TENSION WIRES.

X.3129

We recommend that on the 40/50 chassis we use a wiring tube similar to what we have used on the aero engines. Both 7-CA and 49-GB have been fitted with this tube for some considerable time and no signs of any induction effect has been experienced. We have taken the precaution to earth the metal part of the tube where it is clipped on to the water pipe. This arrangement of wiring gives a very much neater appearance than the 6 separate tubes which eventually always look very untidy.
