Re. Chassis No.3-CP-16. Brig. Gen. Critchley.

In reply to your Br/G.5%G.14.8.37. we regret that at the moment we have not another P.III. clutch plate left but the writer is, however, going to Leamington today to see Messrs Borg & Beck, so that by tomorrow we hope to be able to let you have some more definite information about further supplies. Therefore, we can only confirm that we have not a single plate available, apart from the two we sent you on Friday last.
