To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [redacted] from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} This is to confirm that Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} will be coming down to Derby by the train arriving in Derby at 11.12 a.m. on Wednesday; he should be in the office about 11.15. We are going to take sufficient time to discuss the cost of the Chassis. Fundamentally I am sure we are all agreed that we must get the weight and cost down, without in any way affecting the quality; indeed, I think we should all agree that we consider quality must be important in every direction, but at the same time the cost and weight must very definitely come down. This subject will be the basis of our discussion. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} | ||
