RE CORRONIL METAL TUBES.

We have prepared a set of EAC 11 cylinders for test, fitted with Corronil tubes in place of Monel metal.

These tubes are equally as tough to swage as the Monel, and we cannot guarantee the same degree of tightness. In fact, we have had considerable difficulty in swaging tubes tight enough to stand water test and found it necessary to change six, owing to splitting. We are therefore of the opinion that when subjected to running conditions leaks will develop.

We shall be glad if you will let us know what engine you would like these cylinders fitted to.
