Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Major Searight.

One or two of your original gauges for the 40/50 HP. to KS.162 and our drawing F.79192 went to India on cars. Here they have been giving trouble, as we rather anticipated they might, due apparently to the large variations in temperature experienced during the night and day.

We want to equip these cars with triple air line gauges to make sure that no further trouble is experienced.

Would you therefore please supply us with a complete unit together with one of the small hand pumps which you have previously let us have for our latest units to your drg. KS.162.

Our official order for this will follow in due course.

Yours faithfully,
