PHANTOM III CHASSIS 35-EX.

Failure of Rubber Buffer on Servo Drag Link.

Buffer GW.1372. in Gaco synthetic rubber.

The above buffer which was fitted to 16 H.S. gearbox and 35-EX chassis has failed after 3,300 miles, by cracking and splitting as shown on attached photograph.

The Durometer figure is identical with that obtained from a new piece, i.e. 85.

These buffers are fitted to all Wraith chassis, 35-EX. being the only Phantom III chassis with rubber stop.
