WRAITH ENGINE MOUNTING.

We have been doing some further work on the front engine mounting on Wraith cars and have come to the conclusion that with a more generous use of rubber we can improve engine smoothness. The main thing we require is more rubber for the engine to sit on, but we cannot increase the amount of rubber on the sides because of increased sideways movement of the engine and consequent steering column shake.

The attached sketch shows what we want for rubber dimensions, but it may be necessary to raise the mounting bodily to prevent fouling the top half crankcase and timing gear case.
