"R.{Sir Henry Royce} agrees that the ignition as arranged
on this works satisfactorily. This is the same
as EFC's original modification. --------
--- Seeing that it is working so satisfactorily
it is not worth while spending any more time
discussing."

I am passing on Lec.1550 to Ry. together with
his copy of this note. We quite appreciate that the
governor must now only start operating at 500 engine R.P.M.
Mr. Hives before his departure knew that we
were working to curve A, and did not raise any objection.
We had several times asked him to give us figures of his
own as definitely as he could.
