Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thanks for yours to hand this morning re washers, and I assume you want us to use Aluminium washers wherever we fit the red fibre at the moment.

As regards work on the car, I should like Van der Becke to carry on with this as he has done so much in the past, but at the moment he is at Le Mans racing with the Riley Co. I am, however, expecting him back early next week, and hope it will be convenient to you then.

Regarding the new carburetters, we are having difficulty in getting a good thread in these. As you know we are geetting a few through for you, but I am not at all satisfied with them, and should like you to know that these are not to be taken as samples of our best efforts in this direction. I am also writing Mr. Bailey to see if he can give us any information re the threads.
