4516 Expt. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/MA. February 7th., 1933. John Marston Ltd., Paul Street Works, Wolverhampton. For the attention of Mr. Dalrymple. Dear Sirs, With reference to the three 40/50HP. Car radiators which you have recently fitted up with Mark III type matrix blocks, you may remember ringing the writer up one day asking if it would be in order for you to remove the transverse struts from the bottom tank as you thought they would seriously restrict the water flow. We should be glad if you would let us know whether this work was actually done and if it was done was it carried out on all three radiators; if not on all three which of the three had the alteration made. We are enclosing a print of the bottom tank E.81372 and should be greatly obliged if you would mark on it the alteration made. We require this information for our records. We are hoping shortly to let you have the two 40/50 shells for the Harrison Vee blocks. Are you yet able to give us an approximate quotation for 20/25HP. Mark III matrix blocks identical to the last two which you supplied and fitted, into shells? Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
