C. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, c. to SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}! (handwritten) X180 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG25.6.28. RE. CAR FOR HENDEN. (handwritten) X180 X7770 R.{Sir Henry Royce} is arranging to go to the Pageant next Saturday. It has been arranged that he shall use the London open trials car, but he wishes to return to London (handwritten above 'London') w.w. on his own car 14-EX. It is therefore proposed that our man Dodd shall bring 14-EX car to London on Friday afternoon, leave that car there and go to WW. with the open trials car; he will then drive R.{Sir Henry Royce} to Hendon. After the Pageant he will drive R.{Sir Henry Royce} to where 14-EX car is garaged so that R.{Sir Henry Royce} can return to WW. on this car. Will you please let us know where we can garage 14-EX car on Friday night. What we should like is a lock-up garage because this is the car with the semi elliptic rear springs.
