./129a Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.1.2.38. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E31.1.38., all single cylinder work has been suspended on this project pending the completion of tests and designs incorporating the information contained in a 6-cylinder engine. These designs are in hand. It will be remembered it was agreed that a less costly engine for Phoenix should be designed, so that it could be either a high power head, or the normal push rod type. This has been done; the designs are nearing completion. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
