Dear Sirs, We thank you for your enquiry of the 24th inst, reference RCY/GEA9/FJ, and have pleasure in advising you that we shall be pleased to supply you with 100 Michelin 2-ton jacks at the current wholesale price less an invoice discount of 15% and subject to your usual settlement discount. Any turnover you may do with us in connection with these Jacks will also rank for rebate under the contract for tyres you have been good enough to enter into with us. The current wholesale price of these jacks is £1. 19. 2d each. We note that your enquiry is for Jacks with the code word "Fred" but would advise you that the manufacture of these Jacks has been discontinued and the jack replacing them is known by the code word "Fast". The only difference is that the "Fast" when closed has an overall height of 8 inches whereas the "Fred" measured 10 inches and we have no doubt that these will meet your requirements.
