With reference to the above we send you herewith one of the printed lists which we send out with each chassis giving particulars of the spares and tools supplied, on which we have indicated the items which we suggest should always be carried on the car. We have based our recommendations on the suggestions put forward in the various memos, and it is an up-to-date list of all the items we supply at the present moment. To enable to Estimating Department to let you know what the cost would be for a box to carry the items which are only to be carried on the car when going on long journeys etc. it will be necessary for them to be advised in regard to what the box should actually be, that is whether it has to be a plain teak or polished one, also whether it should be provided with a lock, with partitions and trays.
