Plain Bearings and Surface Finish

(1) A Conference will be held for M.I.T. in June at which a real attempt will be made to bring out the present state of knowledge on plain bearings, surface finish and lubrication.

The original program for this conference was as follows:

CONFERENCE ON FRICTION AND SURFACE FINISH

The Conference will be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on June 5, 6, and 7 dealing with the above subject. The morning of each day will be devoted to the presentation of technical papers and the afternoon of each day to the discussion of the engineering aspects from the point of view of different industries.
