Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} file B60 + 80 engines Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/ML.28.11.40. 1044 16 HORSEPOWER 6 CYLINDER. Confirming our conversation with regard to this engine, we agree to the journal bearings being put up to 2 1/4". We agree to the big end bearings being made as large as possible up to 1 7/8" provided that it is still possible to get the piston out. We agree to the stroke being made the same as the Myth. The camshaft and crankshaft centres will remain the same as on the rest of the Junior range. We confirm that we should like the cylinder heads of the 75 mm. and 3 1/4" bore engines scheming out so that Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HIl can complete the details of these power plants.
